# Template

When generating API documentation from your OpenAPI definitions, Redocly uses the default HTML template for all API versions across all Workflows organizations.

Use the **Template** page to customize the HTML template and personalize your API docs.

The following options are available on the page:

- Change page title
- Change favicon URL
- Edit the default HTML template


## Modify the HTML template

To make changes to the default HTML template, you must first select the **Customize page template** checkbox.

When this is selected, you can modify the contents of the predefined HTML template directly in the editor.

To apply your changes, select **Save**. This triggers a new build.
